It doesn&#8217;t happen all that often around here, so I appreciate the meteorological variety. Fog also piques my imagination. I&#8217;m not saying that there might be, say, dinosaurs lurking in that mist, but I&#8217;m also not saying there aren&#8217;t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fog seems to usually roll in shortly after sunrise and Debbie and I are often already out for a run, which thwarts my photographic strategies. This morning was different, though. We had already agreed on a rest day (four miles of running yesterday plus a two hour dance last night informed our decision) so when the shades automatically went up at their programmed time and revealed&#8230;not much, I jumped at the chance to fire up the drone. My excitement wasn&#8217;t unwarranted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we do have fog, it&#8217;s often a prelude to a dreary, overcast day, such that even if the drone can clear the fog, the view isn&#8217;t that dramatic. But there wasn&#8217;t a cloud in the sky above the layer of fog, and the view from just under 400&#8242; was spectacular.
