Note: I wrote this when I thought June 1st would be the date I returned to semi-pseudo-occasional blogging, but I got impatient and, as you may have noticed, I have already posted one or two things. But this one is already cued up and I can’t think of a good reason not to publish it, although you may think of several after you read it. Sorry about that.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, howdy, y’all. Thanks for sticking around while I tried to figure out if I had a plan, and if I did, what it is. (And I obviously didn’t use the time off to hone my grammar skills.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve got a couple of multi-thousand word posts (!!) waiting in the wings, but how about we just ease back into things with some lighter fare? Think of what follows as an amuse bouche<\/em>, a sweet nothing to prepare your palate for heartier \u2014 if still non-nutritious \u2014 fare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
