It wasn&#8217;t quite as bad as the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tule_fog\">Tule fog<\/a> in Bakersfield (which is so thick that cautious drivers stop at intersections with windows rolled down to listen for cross-traffic), but it still slowed down traffic on the Loop, a miracle in itself.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I couldn&#8217;t resist taking the camera for a stroll around the ponds to see if there were any new perspectives to be gained. Unfortunately, most of my pictures turned out to look like I took them in a fog. Go figure.
