Perhaps it thought that we&#8217;d be confused by the rebar right behind it, thinking it was a snake. In any event, I was able to get a picture looking straight down from the bridge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc;\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsiegmund.com\/fireant\/images\/miscphotos\/bunny2.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of a bunny\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It quickly tired of the paparazzi and disappeared under the bridge, as it should have done in the first place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baby cottontails are perhaps the cutest wild animals in existence, especially when they try to hide in plain sight.
