The fun and games cease, however, as soon as injury occurs.<\/p>\n<h4>9:00 a.m.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc;\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsiegmund.com\/fireant\/images\/miscphotos\/icestorm2013\/desertwillow_before.jpg\" alt=\"Desert willow encased in ice\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>1:30 p.m.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc;\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsiegmund.com\/fireant\/images\/miscphotos\/icestorm2013\/desertwillow_after.jpg\" alt=\"Desert willow encased in ice\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not as if we&#8217;ve lost a major limb from a decades-old oak tree, but this is going to leave a permanent mark on the desert willow in our back yard.
