Christmas 2025 is behind us (and I hope it was a peaceful and meaningful time for you and yours), but given that the literal definition of Christmas is a festival to honor Jesus Christ, the day is recent enough that I’ve made the admittedly questionable decision to dedicate an entire post to memes with themes arising from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. [Ed. I hope you didn’t pull a muscle while stretching to make the connection between Christmas and this post.] [Me: Ouch. Please pass the Aleve.]
About half of these memes have their basis in Scripture, but I recognize that some readers might not pick up on the references so I’ve provided links to Biblical passages, where applicable; most of them will link to the New International Version of the Bible. Feel free to use this post for extra credit in Sunday School. I know I will.
And, just so we’re clear…
