If you’re unsure how to handicap this game, use the approach employed by my wife’s second cousin, who, albeit quite cute and employed, is inexplicably unmarried, and who decides who to root for, in the absence of any other compelling reason, by which quarterback is most dateable. In this case, unsurprisingly, she’s pulling for Green Bay.
By the way, this is the first Super Bowl in a long time where we can almost interpret the roman numeral, XLV, which is the metric equivalent of 183.

In the Chevy Silverado ad, the bit that made me hoot was “Where’d he get a BALLOON??” Nudge and a wink to the weather balloon hoax from a while back.
My thought, precisely. Good use of subtle (and not-so) humor. Unexpected from a truck company.

I REALLY liked that Chevy Silverado ad … but then , I AM a Silverado driver. I really liked the Kia Epic Ride ad, too.

Ok, we LOLed on the Silverado commercial, and the Dorito’s dead grandpa…and the Pepsi crotch shot, I have to admit. (Perhaps because these are the first commercials we’ve seen in a while?)
